Speaking V: A Tour Guide


STEP 1: Choose a place that you have visited, you are visiting soon or you would like to visit.

STEP 2: Research the most important places to visit or activities to do there: monuments, important buildings, special events, celebrations... Select the most interesting ones.

STEP 3: Download a map and highlight where each place is and where the activities take place. Design a tour route through the city.  

STEP 4: Explain the route as if you were a tour guide, with the fundamental data gathered. Choose one of the two options:


a- Record a video in situ in the place you choose


b- Prepare a PowerPoint with a map and essential pictures and present it in class

Speaking Task IV: A Song!!!!!


In pairs, choose a song that you like and record a video in which you give emphasis to the correct pronunciation. 

Don't feel ashamed!!!!! 

(In case that you feel really, really nervous and shy you can try to recitate!)

STEP 3: Awards and professional career.

STEP 4: Situation now and strengths.

STEP 5: Add some KEY PHRASES:

c. In his/her early / late twenties, thirties...

d. When he/she was...

e. In his/her younger / later years...

f. In the early / later part of his/her life / career...
